BRUISER
Ch. Takin' Care Of Bizness

He came into our lives on a Thursday in November.
We knew it'd be a night we always would remember.

He was puppy number six out of a litter that numbered ten.
This truly was an experience that might never come again.

We took one look at that face, and knew he'd never be a loser.
It was right then, at that moment, he got his name of Bruiser.

Tracy picked him for her show dog, and loved him from the start.
There would be no turning back now, he was firmly in her heart.

We headed out in 96 to Ontario and Bullywood.
And Bruiser went and showed his stuff, just like we knew he could.

The years went by and he matured, his year was 99.
He finished with his majors, and one point left to find.

The millennium was here now, it was time to do great feats.
To Golden Gate we headed, and ten dogs needed to beat.

We said our prayers, and held our breath, and waited for the sign.
Please, Please, Mr. Bivin, let Winner's Dog be mine!

With our bulldog friends there with us, he said you are the one.
We got the point, and finished him, our journey was now done.

We'll take him out, and special him, and love him for all time.
I'm just so proud of both of them, and glad that they are mine!!

With all my love, Mom
